CATHENA HOLIDAY CEFALU

Location was great and loved having the washing machine!

Was a little noisy in the first night.

Location was amazing, having the water front view & sunset from the balcony .. stunning.

The property is in a great location in the heart of Cefalu, very convenient for accessing the restaurants, bars, shops & the beach. The property has a lovely balcony overlooking the street. There was good communication from the host upon arrival & the apartment was a very secure property with 3 locked doors to access it. The bathroom was spacious as was the bedroom, however the kitchen area is really tiny.

Very poor wi-fi. A lot of street noise, especially early in the mornings when the waste is collected from all of the bars & restaurants on the street. The apartment was not clean enough, the toilet needs a deep clean & the floors in the bedroom were sandy. The pillows were terrible, new ones needed & maybe more than one pillow per person would be good. Coffee machine does not work. We were requested by the host to check out at 10am however the cleaners were banging on our door at 9.25am & they were more than disgruntled that we were not ready to leave. This apartment could be great with these minor issues addressed.

Great location.

A cute apartament in the heart of Cefalu! We felt very comfortable here, the conditions were great. We got the room with the charming street view, from which you can also catch a glimpse of the sea! The other apartament has an amazing sea view and is noticeably bigger, so maybe specify this when you book it, if it’s a must for you.

We were greeted by a nice Italian couple, with whom it was a delight to talk, even if we didn’t speak Italian, they were very warm and welcoming. The only tiny minus was the whatsapp communication with the English speaking host. He was polite, but not fast responsive and we kind of had to insist a few times to finally get a full reply after many hours. It can also be that it was just an unfortunate timing or some busy days. Definitely not a deal breaker!
