"Pasta, pizza and the beach!"

The apartment is really nice, very italian and really close to the beach, 30-40 min away by train from Rome, the train station is 5 mins away from the apartment. Meriem and his husband were really nice. I loved them!

"Recommended by a frequent visitor to Ostia"

This apartment is huge, so much bigger than any of the others I've rented while in Ostia. The location is perfect for access to shops, bars, restaurants and groceries. The beds are super comfortable with extra linens and pillows. The kitchen has everything necessary. There is no street noise as it faces an inner courtyard. Miriam is a super caring and attentive host.

Only reason I'm giving 9 stars is because of the noise from the neighbours, I think next door. The fighting between mother and daughter was ridiculous, and I had to yell at them to shut up twice. Fortunately they only made noise from around 8pm until midnight so it wasn't too late and you can only hear them from one bedroom. Also be sure not to turn on any appliance, not even the toaster, if the water heater in the bathroom is on. It will blow the current, something common in larger homes in Italy. There's a wall switch in the bathroom so it's not difficult to turn off.
