Perfect location and excellent facilities

A real home from home! Very clean cottage with lovely decor. The location is perfect for exploring North Yorkshire and the Dales. The cottage is tucked away from the main square so very peaceful but only a couple of minutes walk away from all the lovely shops and eateries that Masham has to offer. The hosts are easy contactable and happy to help should you need them. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area again!

What’s not to like!

The property is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything that is needed on the doorstep whether it’s shopping, pubs and eating out. Having said that the kitchen is great for cooking and eating in. We felt very relaxed and at home. Couldn’t be better placed in Yorkshire to see and do loads

Extra touches - big bag of crisps, 2 x bottles of local ale and a little carton of milk. Variety of channels to choose from during down time. Just about everything else (other than per my negative comment below) was available to make the stay comfortable. Little noisy outside, but not to the point of being annoying. Would recommend an eye mask as there is a little light that come through the side of the blinds. Plenty storage space. Good shower, although the bath is very small. I am short and yet I had to bend my knees at least 45 degrees to be able to lie in the bath (silicone application is an eye sore). Ideally located for access to where I wanted to be and what I wanted to do. I have booked it again for next year - that should tell you enough

No shampoo or body wash, which was disappointing when you look at the other unexpected extras. Shampoo and body wash are basics. There was hand wash and body lotion. The latter not essential Silicone sealant on the bath was very poorly applied and looked awful especially considering everything else in the apartment was up to a good standard. Booked for next year, but the price for the same 3 nights is now over £100 more. Parking could be better, especially when you cannot park in the market square due to a mass event over the whole weekend.
