CABreakfast was great for me. They made me steamed vegetables. Norbu, the owner, had some tsampa-from his mother-that is stone milled, which tastes more delicious than electric milled tsampa. I had it with boiling water and a bit of honey. Very healthy breakfast, after askign them to avoid oil. Everyone in Southeast Asia uses too much oil, but here they were able to cut back. The Momos (tibetan dumpllings of buffalo, chicken or vegetables) were wonderful. Better than the Tibetan place nearby called New Amala. One night, Norbu made a bean and corn soup from Sulugumpo where he comes from. It is from his ethnic background, called Sherpa. The cleaning staff were incredibly good.
Nothing really; next time I will call Norbu in advance so they have more Tsampa on hand.
