Clean and in excellent condition. Convenient for an early flight from the airport. Good communication and very glad for the organising of transfers from the port and to the airport. I would definitely stay again when travelling through Sorong.

Everything was great. There was even moskito repellant in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at GD Homestay. We arrived very early in the morning, and although our room wasn’t ready yet (as they were waiting for a guest to check out), Anitha kindly cleared out a room in her own home so we could rest for a few hours. She was incredibly warm and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. They also provide a water dispenser with free drinking water, which was a great touch. Before heading to our liveaboard in Raja Ampat, we stayed here and again on our return. They generously let us store our luggage while we were away, and when we came back ten days later, our bag was already waiting for us in our room. Overall, a genuinely welcoming and comfortable experience—highly recommended.

There was a rooster somewhere close that was quite active from an early hour but nothing a pair of earplugs could not fix
