For me, the location is excellent. Walking distance to my ex-girlfriend's home, 10 minutes from The Terminal Terrestre Potosí and a number of parks, venues, etc.

There is a lot to like about Casa Morelos! The rooms are very spacious, not much in there, but very big! Bathroom was small but sufficient. Instead of having a TV in each room, they have a common area with a good TV There is a big kitchen which is well equipped - loved that! It is very close to Centro Historic, 10 min walk. There are plenty of shops close by, cafes and a market if you want to buy food. Also a bakery.

The communication! It was like pulling teeth (sorry, that's how it felt!). Twice I wrote them and told them that I don't have a data plan so I would need their message upfront. Unfortunately nothing happened. When I was standing in front of the building I had to call them to get the access code. Inside my room there was information about the wifi in form of a sticker on the table. It was so faint and incomplete that I couldn't access the internet. Luckily there were other travellers and they gave me the code. So I wrote them a message, telling them about the incident. Never heard back from them - very unprofessional! When I read the reviews it seems that I am not the only person with the same problem! It is difficult to find quiet rooms in Mexican cities, I understand that. But if you specifically ask for a quiet room and get a room next to a well travelled street and no response... well, so far for customer service... There is a second lock at the entrance door which was at one point so loose, that I had to fix it with a screwdriver otherwise it would have probably fell off. The digital lock opens the door, but if the second lock would have fallen out, everybody would have been able to reach inside and open the door from inside! So far for security! So, in my opinion if this place would be managed differently it would be the place to go in San Luis Potosi, but the way thing are, it is not! Shame - great place!

Loved the size of the room and opportunity to spread out

I didn't receive the code for the front door until 40 minutes after check in time. There was no hot water in the morning. The terrace didn't have any chairs. It was a big room with a double bed, but that is it

The room is enormous, you check yourself in and out but staff are on WhatsApp if any issues-There’s a kitchen and own bathroom

Maybe some drinking water but everything was fine

Location and price

The door handle on the door to the street was hanging out and not secure. It seemed easy to get it out and then be able to reach inside door and open it. I told host who said they would check on it but situation was not remedied. I did not feel secure.

Great guesthouse in the heart of the Centro Historico, this is my go-to place when I visit San Luis. Very comfortable, great kitchen and strong wifi. Definitely better than a hotel!

Great place to stay while in SLP, the room was spacious, great kitchen facilities and fast wifi. I will definitely stay here again!
