"Fabulous Doggy Friendly Barn Stay"

10.0

We booked Summer Barn for a long weekend away with friends. 6 Adults and 3 woofers! Communication with the relevant agent (Norfolk Hideaways) prior to our stay was very smooth and the directions to get to the cottage and gain entry were very clear and easy to follow. The cottage itself was immaculately clean on arrive and everything was well equipped. They had even laid the fire ready for our arrival. The sitting area and kitchen are very homely and the underfloor heating means it is super cosy even on a cold March day. All of the bedrooms were lovely and the bedding was crisp, clean and of good quality. We were lucky to have a sunny spring weekend so were able to enjoy the outside area for breakfast and to read the papers. It’s mainly patio with a small flowerbed area and a thoughtfully provided puppy gate meant we were able to let the dogs out in a secure area. Location wise its an easy 10min walk down to the beach, there is a good pub opposite and a fine dining restaurant in the Maltings hotel around the corner (we had Sunday lunch there and it was great) Highly recommend stretching your legs and strolling the 2.5 miles down the beach to sit in the Garden of The Dun Cow or the same distance the other way into Sheringham. Great place and I would highly recommend.

The middle bedroom is a little tight on space and has a strange configuration where you have to go through the bathroom to reach the bedroom.
