Dolls House

Great location, beautiful little house. There is a lot of steps, so definately not for people with mobility problems. House is well equipped and comfortable with a nice balcony to enjoy a drink.

It was a bit noisy, the neighbours were very loud and we had to close everything at night, but luckily there was a fan.

The appartment is very comfortable, spacious, fully equipped with everything you may need for your stay. 2 bathrooms, waching machine, kitchen with facilities for making coffee, large veranda to lay out clothes and towels after swim, etc.

Marcella was very kind and trying to be helpful, but she spoke only italian. I continiously repeated that i dont understand a word and she continued to speak as if we were locals. When you travel half a day to reach a place, tired and in heat, this can be quite frustrating. In the end, she started using a translator app and we communicated better. Cleaning was inadequate, we found leftovers of coffe in a mug and hair and fluff in the shower. The shower did not draw water and you took your bath in stagnant water which was stinky. In addition, in the kitchen there were many ants, which is expected since you are in the country, but there were some leftovers of bread from the previous tenants and hundrends of ants on them. The basic problem though, that made us want to be outside all day was the lack of air condition!! be careful if you want to go in summer like in August, as we did. I admit that was my mistake, as it is mentioned at Booking that the room provides fan, but I hadnt noticed, otherwise there was no possibility I had booked there. 4 persons (us and the kids) slept all together in the double bed where the only fan existed, because it was a torture to go to any other room to sleep. Of course, Marcella reassured us that the room is fraiche and cool but, beleive me...at 37 degrees with high humidity in Minori, you need an air condition! Happily, it was only for 2 nights, because we couldnt wait to leave.

Very nice location on the amalfi coast

The owner accommodated for us arriving early and checked us in anyway. The apartment is lovely and spacious. An amazing balcony which provides a lovely view of Ravello and close by to local shops. Check out was easy as it was just a case of leaving the keys in the room.

The stairs are slightly larger than we were used to and there wasn't a banister to hold the entire way - something to consider for visitors with mobility problems. Also the detergent used on the sheets was quite strong for us (and my husband is prone to migranes) so we threw them in for a quick was before we slept on the bed but this really wasn't an issue.

Comfortable and attractive with great views from the terrace to Ravello.
