Simple basic room, value for money. large room.

This started off as a nice stay but quickly turned into a nightmare. So let me tell you about it… First if all the owner seems at first to be a sweet ild lady but quickly i have many serious complaints about this property as well as the owner of the property. every single day we found entire colonies of ants in our room. the staff came and sprayed but just 5-6 hours later there would be more ants. not just in one place but all over the room. in addition we found cockroaches in our room. we spoke to the owner about this and asked if they could do a partial refund OR move us to another room. she began saying that this is Thailand and all the hotels have bugs which in reality after several weeks of staying in Thailand this is the first time it’s happened. Then she said “it doesn’t matter if i move you, all of the rooms have bugs” she then continued to say “i have a pest control that comes every three months but a couple weeks before the end of each 3 months the bugs come back” so she knows she has a bug problem but doesn’t do anything to fix it. she stated that she gave us special discounts which wasn’t true as we booked through Booking.com and it’s fixed. after pointing this out she said well I didn’t give a discount, i just changed your room (she did that tell us this before). in fact our room was supposed to have a view so we could see the fireworks on New Years Eve however our view was just a wall and some plants. The owner then became hysterical and said that WE the guests were being bad guests (for pointing out these problems) and that she is now planning to cancel all guests that are foreigners. so she also pointed out that we were foreign and is basically being racist towards me and my girlfriend. we only waited to say something because every day the staff comes in to clean and we were worried for retaliation from the owner.

Old more things broken and not clean

The room was really big with an added bonus of a balcony. Had everything you needed including a fridge, kettle (with coffee replenished every day) big TV if you want to watch tele. The bed was the star of the show, the comfiest we have had in Thailand so far. The bathroom really let it down, when the shower was on it was just pointed directly at the toilet and the sink was leaking. Just missing the added eye for detail to make it 10/10. The staff were also a little unwelcoming compared to have we have been used to in Thailand
