There wasn't much customer traffic, but the staff I met was helpful and seemed friendly. Aircondition was nice within the price range. Pool was cleaned daily. Shower and toilets were looked after and cleaned.

Sometimes a toilet wouldn't flush, but it was a fix repair. Except for Receptionist/Barkeeper they didn't speak much english. Facillites, Rooms were cleaned and the sheets were new and clean, but matrasses and pillows themselves were old and nasty. There was also a cockroach in our room: Likely, because the container/room had 2 cut out doorframes. One was the sliding glass door(which also didt exactly close) and the other was open cut out to the side, which was poorly and haphazardly blocked with a huge plate sheet of mdf.

El personal fue siempre muy amable y servicial. La terraza en la parte alta es de lo mejor, con atardeceres espectaculares. Aunque no está en el centro de El Paredón, queda a un par de calles, así que es tranquilo en la noche y se descansa muy bien. Ideal si buscas paz sin estar lejos de todo.

Como único punto a mejorar, el acceso al dispensador de agua potable se cierra cuando el personal de recepción se va, por lo que en la noche no hay disponibilidad.

L'emplacement

The main reason for me to stay one night in this hostel is that I needed a quiet location after I had an awful night with no sleep in the center. And for that, it's a great place, because it is at the very beginning of El Paredon, further away from the parties. I also like the concept of the containers, quite unusual. For the dorm, every bed has its own socket and fan, which is great.

Unfortunately, the fan next to my bed didn't work, but I ended up switching beds with another guest. That fan was quite loud throughout the night though. Also, there are no curtains and if you're on a top bed, there is also no way to hang any towels around. But I guess for this price, you cannot expect too much comfort. Also, the top beds have no frame around, so it seems a bit sketchy if you move a lot.
