Absolutely Incredible Stay! First and foremost, the staff were the heart of our amazing experience. They were incredibly friendly, attentive. The private beach was an absolute gem—clean, well-maintained, and wonderfully peaceful. Thanks to this fantastic hotel, we had the most amazing holiday ever. The combination of stellar service, delicious food, stunning views, and a pristine beach made it a dream getaway.

The tv and the wifi were not working. The water in the room from the bottles didn't smell oke. The water in the pool looked not clean. The weather in the restaurant was a bit pussy about what I had to order. The lights in the room are so bright, you need sunglasses.We didn't feel very welcome.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that offers some luxury and style then this is the place. Beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds, pool, sun beds near beach, very comfortable and spacious rooms, excellent chef in the restaurant serving reasonably priced good quality tasty food and attentive waiting staff. We loved it. Thank you Don for a lovely stay.

Mullaitivu Beach was strewn with debris from the many nearby fishing boats which spoilt the beach front. Not the hotels fault as their beach area was very clean.

Ashok and his team, or the waiting staff, was incredibly friendly and helped adjust the timings to suit our schedule. Very useful as there is very few restaurants and supermarkets close by. The chalets here are quite large and spacious, and the resort is set next to the beach and a large lagoon.

The neighbouring fishermen kept burning trash, because in their mind it reduces the amount of mosquitoes, which wasn't the case.

1 night stay on way up to Jaffna. Friendly welcome by manager, who wanted to do everything to please. Good location, watched fishermen haul in catch on beach. Good restaurant, super helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.

Almost deserted (a shame) making it hard for staff to maintain to 4 star standard. Hopefully more busy in season. Pool not so inviting, could have been with a bit of attention. Only place bothered by mossies, in the room. But still a good place to stay.

We had a roomy cabana with a large bed and terrace. There was an attractive restaurant area- great location near a very quiet beach. Most of the staff were friendly. The place has lots of potential.

The pool although looks good in photos but had algae down the sides. There were no loungers to lie by the pool and for the short time I used the pool (with trepedation!) nobody came to offer me a towel etc. Although our bathroom was very large with a good shower, it was extremely old and tired looking- the external painting of the cabana also looked very tired compared to other cabanas which were empty. We booked a double room ( not a triple) and there was a spare single bed (very common in Sri Lankan hotels) and there was an abrupt sign on the single bed saying we must not use it (it wasnt broken) which seemed unwelcoming. Overall the place seemed overpriced for what you get.We checked in as booked and settled our room bill on check-in at the manager's request for which we received an invoice. However a day or two after checking out I received a message from booking.com that we hadn't checked in!- seems like the hotel recorded us as a no show??? apart from another couple, we were the only guests so they weren't busy- created unecessary hassle for us post-stay.

Too much mosquitoes. Not comfortable room.

The location is lovely - set on a quiet stretch of beach. And the cabins are nice with high ceilings and four poster beds. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Particularly enjoyed the free yoga session Mr Lal the manager gave me one morning - it was fabulous and I felt great afterwards (he is a great teacher and doing it with the sound of the sea is very relaxing).

Pool was a little dirty and it is a little overpriced for what you get (but choices are very limited in Mullaitivu!)
