This is a wonderfully comfortable hotel set in the most awe inspiring location surrounded by snow capped mountains including Everest, Ama Dabla, Lhotse and more! Eagles soar overhead and wonderful day walks to be had if you want to take it easy or push yourself. Great yoga and meditation classes. Delicious fresh meals and great coffee with roasted Nepalese beans and an expresso machine. Pemba and his staff are very kind and able to solve any problems that might arise including health issues, helicopters and liasing with other hotels and guides if plans need to change. Located about an hour and a half from Namche Bazaar on the same trail you take to visit Everest View Hotel you will climb a steep mountainside and be rewarded by your first glimpses of Everest and the most spectacular mountain views. A great affordable place to stop …I stayed for 7 days and just loved it!! Great if you want to spend time ‘being’ in the mountains rather than ‘doing’ the mountains.
