Meadow Barn

Location extremely calm and beautiful. Quality of accommodation build and furnishing, bedding etc excellent. Good to have option of kitchenette and some basic food stuffs ... bread and eggs and cut flowets appreciated. Would recommend as a quieter option when visiting coastal Dorset ... also enjoyed mooching around independent shops and antiques in Bridport ... craft microbrewery in Lyme ... and Beer harbour for fresh fish off the boats.

Would love extra equipment such as bbq tools, a little more by way of kitchen implements, a shelf in the bathroom. All OK for a two night stay but would want more if we stayed longer.

Bed was very firm, we both like a firm mattress but it was a bit too firm.

Meadow Barn is a delightful little property tucked down a quiet country road, with good access to the B-road. Although not far from the main property and another holiday let, you are not overlooked. The views from the property are stunning and you can feel you really are close to nature. The facilities are great inside and out, with the kitchen having all you need for the time you’re there. Hugo and Alice are attentive when needed but not intrusive. Definitely recommend staying at Meadow Barn!

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow Barn, it is in such a beautiful location with views across the valley and there were amazing sunsets when we were there. It is close to the Jurassic coast, to Lyme Regis and Bridport etc. The barn is well equipped and very comfortable, there was everything we needed for cooking and Alice gave us a loaf of bread also fresh eggs were provided. The barn is beautifully light with high ceilings and a wonderful bathroom with a bath and shower. It is luxurious with a homely feel, there were fresh flowers in vases and amazing smelling hand and body soap made on the farm. There's a lovely and private seating area outside with a hot tub, looking over the farm land, we wished we could have stayed longer.

It was clean, quiet & comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again. The views of the countryside are wonderful. We ate in every night and there is everything you need kitchen wise. Bathroom is huge with a fantastic shower. Great place to come for a quiet break. Alice is a wonderful host by the way.

This isn't really a dislike, just a heads up, It was a bit tricky to find at first, the post code took us further down the road to another place but once we found it, it was a piece of cake.
