"Very good accommodation"

Nice room 2 chairs, great breakfast good selection, coin laundry on property, spa, pool bbq facilities

No breakfast on the last day due to water problems, BUT that should not have made a difference to having cereal, toast waffles or fruit.

"The border town is small but an interesting stopover."

By the time we checked in, we were ready for a rest and a good meal. The front office staff facilitated both. A quick check-in and a good room let us unwind after the winding road. The advice is to drive nearby to Rocco's restaurant -- an unexpectedly good Italian restaurant was just what the doctor ordered.

In contrast with some of the other free breakfast set-ups, the Ramada, like other Wyndhams, seem to have gone downhill over the years. Years ago you could expect fresh oatmeal in the morning, and maybe some scrambled eggs. Now you are lucky to get tough biscuits and gravy (it is the South).

"No King Bed if you have a Dog"

Location

Booked King room, said I was traveling with a dog. They gave me a room with two full beds not a king. Said they didn't have any king rooms a dog could stay in. They claim they knew nothing about the dog. And, they charged me an additional $25.
