Kiola Villa

We had the best stay at Kiola villa, beautiful villa up of Taghazout mountains very private and peaceful. The Villa was very big and clean perfect for a big family. We had a great time swimming in the pool and enjoying the best views of the ocean and mountains. the sun is in the pool area all day long which made us don’t wanna leave the Villa and it was perfect for our kids. Our host was super friendly and kind he made us feel home from day one. I highly recommend this place :)

We stayed as a group of friends and had a fantastic time. The villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool was the highlight and perfect for relaxing together. Great location and a very friendly, responsive host. We Ujb would gladly come back!

Our stay at Kiola Villa in Taghazout was extremely disappointing and far from what was advertised. The location is very poor isolated with no phone service, no working Wi-Fi, and difficult road access. Transport options are almost non-existent, with no taxis available, and the nearest shop is a 15-minute drive away. On arrival, the accommodation was not ready. There were not enough bath towels, the bedding was damp, the fridge was broken, and there were insects crawling around. We also found trails of ants in all rooms and up the walls due to uncleanliness. Communication with the cook was difficult as she did not speak English, though the breakfast she prepared was nice. Unfortunately, the host was unhelpful, argumentative, and quick to blame others for any shortcomings. Although he initially promised some form of compensation for the poor experience, he later messaged to say nothing would be done. The most disturbing incident was when the cook argued with us and broke dishes in anger, frightening our family and children. The host was made aware but did nothing to address it. I would not recommend this property to anyone, especially families or those travelling for work, as there is no reception, no Wi-Fi, and the overall environment is unpleasant and poorly managed.

The villa was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Spacious rooms, and lots of outdoor spaces to relax as well as a dining room with the sitting room and kitchen all together so very sociable. We had a hire car which is essential if you want to go into town without ordering a taxi. The host was lovely, really helpful. He organised a home cooked traditional meal, a yoga class and recommended places to eat and go for a massage. In the town World of Waves, Mungas rooftop and Windy Bay are worth visiting for food. There are also lots of stalls along the beach front selling tourist type gifts. Fun to browse after being in the town.

The kitchen could have been slightly better equipped, but thats not really a complaint. The food is so inexpensive in the town that we were able to eat out every night and not break the bank.
