Queens Road

The property was very comfortable, well appointed, with excellent facilities and consideration made for guests. I particularly appreciated the large variety of tea and coffee left for us, as after a long trip a good cup of tea was the first thing on my list of needs. The bathroom was well put-together and the bath was exceedingly comfortable. Central heating worked brilliantly and kept the whole property feeling warm and welcoming throughout our stay.

I had a few minor quibbles. On our arrival, for some reason, the main fuse for the lights in the property was set to off, and led to a few minutes of searching for the fusebox with phone torches. The toilet seat was not secured properly and constantly slid around despite best efforts at tightening the bolts by hand - a few minutes' work with an adjustable spanner would sort it, but I couldn't find any such tool in the property. Aside from that, I had no complaints whatsoever.

Location was great with a ASDA so close. I received an email before arriving with all the details needed and was very pleased with the communication. Tastefully decorated, space was good and it was very clean. Don’t expect any of the extras you find often in a hotel like shampoo, body wash etc bring your own. The kitchen worked well for what little we used it. I would book here again.

The property looked as though it was newly renovated. It was exceptionally decorated. It was very modern and clean.

There was nothing I disliked. The only thing I would say for slight improvement was there was no microwave cover to go on the plates.

Toast company checked on us to see if everything was ok and satisfactory which I thought was a nice touch,Everything we loved a lovely place to stay , well decorated and very comfortable, the king size bed was so comfortable adorable

If I had to be critical but not an issue,Stairs, steeper than my own house, my knees and hips are getting sore and aching, but managed ok with banister Because I’m spoilt the television was too small for me

Comfortable and well equipped house with stylish and new furnishings. Ideal location for us to visit around the area, including going to Kynren (and Beamish Museum not too far away by car) with cafes and shops within easy walking distance of the house.

Only thing missing (with young children) was a downstairs loo!

Absolutely amazing house we`ve had a lovely stay there with my parents, they could`nt stop talking about how comfy the beds are. Definitely going to rent the house again when they`re coming back. Great location, very quiet. Highly reccomend

Lovely stay in a beautiful 2 bed terraced house. The road itself is a dead end so no busy passing traffic bar the residents. Quiet and peaceful area. The house was exceptionally clean throughout, the comfiest beds, everything you need. Welcoming tea/coffee and milk was much appropriated after a long drive. We are already looking to return here in the summer.

There was nothing about this property we didn't like.
