Palermo Hub

We found the structure and vibe of Palermo quite different compared to other cities we visited in Italy. So if you’re planning a north-to-south Italy tour like we did, you might experience a bit of a shift in expectations when arriving in Palermo. As for the accommodation, the hosts were very kind and welcoming – they even gave us some small gifts. The room was very clean, comfortable, and the TV was excellent. It’s about 10 minutes from the city center by bus, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the house. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing.

The single bed room is cosy and has everything you need, if you focus on exploring Palermo and the surroundings. There is a table with two chairs, air condition, a fridge and a smart TV too. A rack or even more outside when needed to dry towels and hand washed clothes. Even a good looking and comfy bench to sit on. The shower is spacious as well and looks pretty. The host Michele is always there for your questions, to help and for recommendations. You feel that he is a honest, humble, hospitable man with a sense of humor. It’s important for him for you to feel comfortable and to have a pleasant stay. The backyard where the Palermo Hub is located is pretty too with its plants and the baby palm tree. It’s wonderful to see how the people take care of the cats there as well.

I loved the layout of the loft, very practical and had everything you needed

The walls were very thin and we could hear the neighbours making noises and the cleaner in the morning

There are quite plenty of space for parking.

The bed sheet and towel are worn out.

Not super near the city center (35 min by walk )

Very nice host and a great value of money ,,, free parking can be easily found nearby but you need a car as it is a bit far from the town and public transport is not where Palermo shines in
