Location was ideal for a 3 day event at Silverstone

- Biggest problem was no curtain or blinds in the room, and it didn't look like there was ever been one. There's a Shell garage across the road and their security light glares into the room all night (see image) Tried raising it with the hosts via Booking.com. First message was ignored, second message they said they would send someone to take a look. Third message ignored. Was never resolved during my 3 night stay. Additionally an issue when changing at night, or drying off from a shower as the room can be seen from houses. - There's a TV in the room but it's useless as no aerial or channels are tuned in. Again raised it, but nothing was done. - The place is a cheaply put together HMO so there's the usual thin walls where you can hear everything that goes outside of the room. - 1 shower between 4 or 5 rooms isn't sufficient as you end up having to wait if 2 or more people get up at the same time in the morning. - Needs carpet on the second flight up stairs so you don't disturb other guests walking up and down at night or first thing in the morning. - Sticky door on apartment which made a loud cracking noise every time you opened it, again disturbing others early in morning

DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING - it is about as FAR from SUNNY and the WAVES as you will ever get They should call the place RAT HOLE with a subtitle "Management do NOT care"

DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING - SHOCKING EXPERIENCE - We booked 2 rooms. On arrival one room was occupied by someone else so one of us got a room downstairs in another unit. My buddy could not access his room at 11.30 pm at night as none of the remote locks worked. The units had a "safe" key on the wall - that would allow access in event of electronic locks not working. That key was missing - and whilst trying to speak to management staff in London or wherever - they accused us of stealing it !! Like we going to lock ourselves out of a room we paid for- whacky stuff. At well after midnight, it was clear we could not access one room - so 2 old male heterosexual pensioners ended up having to sleep in the same bed - bizarre !! Front entrance and "garden" looked like a pigsty....full of rubbish and full of weeds. Management of this property are a company called Elite Renaissance that promised to refund us for the one night out of 4. Three months later and numerous emails - NO response and NO refund. Disgusting way to treat customers. Don't ever stay in any place managed by this company. I will be complaining to the UK Ombud as well - that is how bad it was.

Its was very clean and tiday. Modern and versatile. Nice shower room and kitchen. Very secure with touch key pad entry system. Plus the fact everything you need is in within 15 minutes walk.
