AMIGO HOUSE

The vibe and people it attracts. This is my 3rd visit and I always end up having interesting conversations. Also the location is great, so close to the beach.

It’s a 15 min walk from the station. Good to keep in mind if you have lots of luggage.

The overall vibe in the coworking is unbeatable. Everyone is so nice, it's easy to make friends, there's nice jazz music playing all day long, the spaces to work are very comfortable, the rooms are clean and spacious...

The only thing I can think of is that for me, the pillows were quite uncomfortable, too thin. But that depends on the person, I guess some people will like it like that. I also didn't ask for a replacement so maybe they could have given me a pillow that adjusted more to my liking, I don't know

Amigo house was cute, clean, and convenient! The staff was lovely, and the room was a nice size with cute decorations.

It is my second time (second summer) staying at Amigo House. I really like the concept, the property, the vibes of the staff and other people staying. It is a perfect hostel/hotel for Remote-Work. I haven't tried the dormitory but stayed in the 2nd floor 2 single beds rooms. Shower and toilets are shared with all the floors, but pretty clean. The kitchen and lounge area are really clean and there is a garden space with outdoor seating which is nice. There are nice cafes and restaurants in 10-15 min distance on foot

Even though the place is very small and with a lot of common areas, as it is normal, in Japan it is hard to start conversation or meet with one and other. And one very small side thing I wish was better is the soap in the common sink on the second floor, it doesn't get very bubbly. I was pleased with the rest.

I stayed here in mid July in one of the private rooms. The location is really good, It's really close to the beach, shops, the train station and buses, and places to eat. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and speak English quite well. Minami especially was really pleasant, and was able to recommend places to see, eat, etc. She was extremely helpful and easy to talk to.

Restrictions on when you could have showers, but that's understandable given it's a hostel - it's shared space and the noise/disruption it creates. The Wi-Fi in the private rooms wasn't reliable and had a habit of dropping out. We were informed of this ahead of time, but it's still an inconvenience if you're in the middle of something requiring a stable connection. If you have it, it's better to use your phone as a wi-fi hotspot if you're in a private room.
