GBWe didn't stay in Heron house as there were maintenance issues and we were offered a nearby alternative last minute. Location was good. House was warm, well equipped and double bed was very comfortable.
House wasn't well maintained. Towel rail fell off, toilet seats were faulty. Internet kept cutting out. Bathroom could have been cleaner and lounge smelt of 'dog'. My adult daughters said the single beds were very narrow, better for children. It would have been nice to have some sort of welcome pack with info and instructions.
