Somewhat expensive
We traveled to 6 different locations across Portugal, Spain and Croatia, and this accommodation tops the list! Our room was spacious and comfortable and top-notch clean. The details made a great difference: great service (met us at our taxi drop off and walked us to the accommodation, and even carried our suitcases up the stairs to the third flooor!). Nespresso coffee pods AND milk replenished every day, quality soaps and lotion, candy and chocolate in our room, cookies at the front desk, free water in the fridge upon arrival, beach towels and personal check-ins. The stone walls are part of the Diocletion Palace which adds extraordinary charm to the stay. Bakery smells wafting through the window in the morning and shutters to block out light. Comfortable bed, sofa and chair. Spacious closets and spacious shower. Right in the heart of old town with easy access to squares and the esplanade for restaurants, shops and bars. A must stay.

Dijana met us when we arrived helped with the bags and walked us to the accommodation booked us in and explained everything about the accommodation and where to go for food and anything else we may need. Very attentive staff. We didnโt want for anything highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Split.

USBeautiful property located in the heart of the old town (inside the palace walls). Everything we wanted to see in town was less than a 10-minute walk (most attractions were only 2 - 3 minutes away). Lovely piazza just a few steps from the Priuli, so we had drinks and meals there a few times to enjoy the people watching. The room itself was wonderful: clean, well equipped and decorated, and had a very cool ancient wall behind plexiglass inside the room. The staff was very helpful and so lovely to us. Little touches likes robes and chocolates gave the stay a luxurious feel. I would definitely stay here again. This property is a treasure.

USUSThis is a gem of a place to stay. It is close to everything in Split, our room was clean and the bathroom roomy. Staff were wonderful.
I realize mattress feelings are a personal taste. For us, the bed was comfortable, but a little too firm. Having mattress topper would help. This didn't detract from a fabulous stay.
USRoom was beatiful and spacious, hotel staff went above and beyond to help us locate the hotel and get our luggage up to the room. On third floor so very helpful. Noise was minimal from street.
No shades for windows. Or we didnโt see them if the were there. Eye mask worked fine.
