L'emplacement est juste parfait. En quelques pas on peut déjà être en train de marcher sur le lac glacé. On a eu la chance de voir des aurores boréales le dernier jour. Encore une fois l'emplacement du logement est parfaitement propice à une bonne observation du phénomène. On n'a pas eu froid du tout. Le personnel est très réactif et agréable. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour la région.

L'emplacement étant isolé (ce qui reste un énorme point fort), il est difficile de s'organiser pour des activités alentour. Je recommande fortement de louer une voiture pour plus de liberté.

Unser Aufenthalt im März in der Cabin 6D war einfach fantastisch! Wer echte nordschwedische Gemütlichkeit sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Lage direkt am See ist magisch – wir konnten an zwei Abenden die Polarlichter direkt von der Hütte aus bewundern. Die Hütte selbst ist geräumig, sehr gemütlich und verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche sowie eine eigene Dusche und sogar eine private Sauna. Ein absolutes Highlight war jedoch der außergewöhnliche Service. Unsere Fahrerin Anita verdient allein schon 5 Sterne! Ihre herzliche Art gab uns sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Sie hat uns so viel Wissenswertes über die Geschichte und die Zukunft von Kiruna erzählt, dass jede Fahrt ein echtes Erlebnis war. Ein großartiges Camp mit einem unvergesslichen Service dank Menschen wie Anita!

Es gab eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln. Man sollte lediglich wissen, dass die private Toilette direkt draußen neben der Hütte liegt (was aber kein Problem war, da sie sehr nah und schnell erreichbar ist) und die Küche keinen Backofen hat. Für das Kochen im Urlaub ist sie aber ansonsten bestens ausgestattet.

The location of the cabins is great to catch the northern lights: quiet, with little artificial light and easy to get to by car. Alexandre, the cabin manager, passed by on our first night to check if everything was alright and kindly let us know the northern lights were visible, so we ran outside to enjoy the view. The lake right outside the cabins offers spectacular views in the morning. The cabin has everything you need to feel at home and enjoy a few days of peace and comfort. Temperature was -35 celsius when we stayed and the heating worked well. All beds are individual bunk beds, but surprisingly comfy.

The number of our cabin (8B) was not indicated on the cabin's door, so we spent some time trying to understand which was our cabin. We figured it out by trying out the lockbox with the code provided. Other guests staying at different cabins knocked on our door upon arrival, unsure as well as to which cabin it was. Signalling could be improved.
