SEThe cabin is only 10-15 minutes drive from Kiruna Airport and Town. The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi is also only about 10 minutes drive from the cabin. The cabin is beautifully situated by a lake (Alttajärvi) which during our visit was frozen and we could walk safely out onto the lake. This gave us an advantageous view of the Northern Lights. Truly fantastic! Out host was also very helpful and friendly.
Not much to dislike with the cabin or where it is situated. It was though very cold when we arrived. Around minus 20 Celsius. Inside the cabin the electric heaters were on but not full heat. That meant that the cabin had an average temperature of only about 8-11 degrees Celsius when we arrived. It took a very long time to get a more comfortable temperature. There is a log burner and logs to burn. It would have helped if the host could have raised the heating thermostats on the electrical heaters before our arrival. Of course what is a comfortable temperature is different from individual to individual.
PTA cabana ficava num sitio remoto. Caso o céu estivesse limpo, seria uma localização incrível para ver auroras. Tinha sauna e BBQ disponível para todos os hospedes. Tinha também trenó que podíamos usar para passear em cima do lago gelado. A cozinha estava equipada com fogão elétrico de 2 bicos, chaleira e microondas e tinha todos os utensílios de que precisámos.
Apesar do alojamento ter serviço de transfer disponível, o preço é alto para a distância. Podiam considerar oferecer o transfer a quem reservasse uma tour por exemplo (como penso ser a prática no Camp Alta). A casa de banho tinha também um ligeiro cheiro a mofo, nada de grave.

JPThe room was good size to stay with family members. We could see beautiful lake from dining room and sauna. We enjoyed relaxed time in the facility.
FIMajoitus oli todella siisti ja helppo löytää. Majoitus sijaitsee niin lähellä isoa tietä että äänet saattavat hieman häiritä herkkäunista nukkujaa.
