Villa Laura

The villa is only 3 minutes by car from the motorway and 3 minutes on foot from the sea. The kitchen equipment was OK. The swimming pool was very clean and a good restaurant 200 meters away. Cefalú is a 5 minutes drive

We did not have space for our belongings as all the cupboards were packed with pillows and blankets of the host The bed matress was too soft (should be changed). The washing machine damaged some of our clothes due to a sharp edge inside (there was a missing part in the drum), We washed our children"s T-sirts only (NO shoes, were inside etc). The host did not pay any compensation . A huge disappointment in general.

Everything perfect. Spotless inside and very relaxing outside area with pool. Its worth to stay much longer. Will be soon here again!

The villa is in a beautiful location - mountain & sea view. Birdsong is the loudest noise you hear ! It is a short walk to a lively & lovely pizzeria & there is a small bar also close by. The supermarket is a 20 minute walk & the gorgeous town of Cefalu one stop on the train from Lascari. We liked Tiziana the host too, she was helpful & kind & quick to respond to any questions we had

The ONLY thing we could fault was there was no chopping board or colander

We liked everything. The house was really clean and spacious. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Upstairs, a large sheltered loft and a private bathroom. We were traveling with another couple and the private bathrooms really made everything easier. The pool area was wonderful, as well as the patio area of ​​the yard. There was also a separate toilet by the pool. The location of the house is great. Only a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are a few restaurants nearby, but the area is really quiet. The train station can be reached by car in 5 minutes and there are parking spaces for cars. Good grocery store also nearby. We spent an absolutely wonderful holiday at Villa Laura, for which a big thank you also to the host, who was easily reachable. He gave good tips about restaurants and helped with everything. He was really friendly and nice.

Another couple slept in the upstairs loft and were woken up every night by dogs barking at four in the morning. The barking lasted an hour. They were sleeping in the loft and the sound was heard there. My husband and I slept downstairs but we didn't wake up, even though I'm a light sleeper myself. The bark therefore only hear in the upstairs. Of course, the host can't do anything about this, and the barking really didn't hear downstairs.

Everything was clean and comfortable. We have great stay in a beautiful place. Tiziana is warm and hospitable host. I can recommend Villa Laura without any doubts.

We enjoyed everything about this property! Very nice host who let us leave our luggages inside before the check-in time. The entire place was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to take most of our meals outside, thanks to the lovely outside furniture. It was also a nice touch to have a protection above the drying rack after taking our clothes out of the washing machine. The central AC worked very well. The pool and its setup were greatly appreciated after a hot day exploring the beautiful towns nearby. The beach is right beside the property and the supermarket is quick car ride from the house. We would definitely come back again!

We would have liked more cutting boards and more kitchen utensils in the kitchen. The wifi could have been faster, especially for guests who would rent for longer periods of time or for work.
