La location è molto bella, ma poco curata. Buona la posizione, isolata, silenziosa e immersa nella natura. Lo staff si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile.

Ok per l’ambiente naturalistico senza troppo intervento dell’uomo, ma un minimo di servizi e pulizia sarebbe auspicabile. Considerando la particolare attenzione al cibo bio, descritta nel sito e su Booking, la cena è la colazione meriterebbero più attenzione in termini di qualità e proposte.

This is a real paradise in the middle of the island. The host were supernice, too. Its NOT A HOTEL. If you are seeking for Novotel or Kempinski, this is not your place. This is a true hideaway, surrounded by century-old olive trees, where it's OK to do nothing for a while and just enjoy the sunset over the Trasimeno lake from the terrace. And yes, there could be spiders or lizards around the house - man, it is the NATURE HOUSE. Food prepared by Andrea was excellent for us, but do consult about food options as there are not many available on this island.

We stayed in the apartment with the terrace, where two can sleep on the pullout sofa in the dining area. The bed was comfortable, but a bedside lamp could make the stay more comfortable, as there were just the main lights in that room. Not a huge investment for a bit of extra comfort. ;)

The host was exceptionally nice and helpful (and therefore it breaks my heart to say what I didn't like about the stay). The place is very beautiful and peaceful and very well suited for a restorative stay due to its location.

The co-host (the lady), while nice, acted absurdly disorganised while waiting our table at dinner. The room was clean in general, but you could see numerous spiders at the ceiling. The dinner was really poor and expensive. To be fair, we could have returned the plates or asked for a price reduction and the host would have accomodated the request as he was very kind, but this is the reason why we didn't want to bother him. It was 20 EUR per person for a plate of cold gnocchi as a starter, and a ridiculously small portion of grill vegetables for main. The overall experience would have been way better had we brought our own food.
