Happy house

L’appartamento è accogliente, pulito e funzionale.

Es un área tranquila pero con algunos servicios como super, pizzería cerca. Suele haber parking disponible. Tiene lavadora y secadora y aire en las habitaciones que va genial con este calor.

La cocina no tenía utensilios para 4 personas, ni cuchillo en condiciones. Las ollas y sartenes estaban sucias y muy quemadas. Había un trapo de cocina pero muy sucia. Las habitaciones: las almohadas estaban viejas y muy sucias, las sábanas desgastadas aunque limpias. Y en la ducha había un montón de pelo y no estaba bien limpia.

The apartment was very spacious.

Just two days before going to Malta, we found out that Happy House was not at the address listed in Booking.com. We kept calling the owner from Spain, but she was not reachable for 7 hours, during which time we had to think Plan B just in case Happy House didn't exist. Finally when we could reach her, she was still too occupied to answer all our questions sufficiently. Happy House had good reviews before. Maybe that day happened to be just one bad day for her personally, but the situation did not give us good impression. Another minus point was that we were told not to use the kitchen sink because only scorching hot water came out of the faucet. Therefore we had to use the very tiny bathroom sink for doing the dishes, which was very difficult and inconvenient. Also, the bedroom didn't smell good, and the bedsheets didn't seem to be clean enough. Sorry for the bad review.

I can only recommend this accommodation and the host. Very good communication. Location close to Valletta. I recommend using Uber to get to Valletta (approx. 4-5 euros/car). We were allowed an earlier check in (11:45), although it was only possible to check in from 3:00 p.m. The apartment looks exactly like the photos, it is sufficiently furnished and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Very quiet location. Restaurants and shops nearby.

If you're going by car, the only thing I can write about (it doesn't lower my rating, though, the landlord is not responsible for that) is car parking. Possible only and only for public parking on the streets. It may take some time to find a place in nearby streets.
