Crescent Moon Homestay

Quiet homestay situated on the hill above Laxman Jhula market. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the bed nice and comfortable. The host is super attentive, helpful and a very nice person! We like to come back when next in Rishikesh.

Somebody picked me up with a scooter from the Junki Bridge to the hostel, because it is not easy to find. It is a quite place. The room was clean. The owner was kind and helpfull. There is a water filter that you can use. There was also a van.

The place is not easy to find and also not easy to reach if you are not good in walking because it is a bit hilly there, the path is not in best conditions, it can be slippery while raining and a bit dangerous to walk in the night, you may fall. The building heates up very quickly in hot days. In the morning I woke up at 4:00am because the neighbour started to make a fire from wook (and plastic?) and dark smoke came into my room. So I talked to the owner of the hostel to speak with her neighbor. But I was not sure, if she did.

Nice room, comfortable. Close to Ganges. The owner went to a lot of effort to make sure we found hotel, and helped book us a taxi to airport.

The room was perfect, just what you need, good fan, very good hot water, clean and nice balcony! Very good quality for the price as well, and stunning views from the rooftop! It is less than 5 minutes away from cafes, shops, etc. Pooja helped us on everything, taxi, local tips and a beautiful smile. We really recommend this place :)

The room was clean and comfortable, i felt like i went on a visit at one of my friends houses. The owner, she is soo nice, if you need something that is related to your stay, she will help you immediately.

Pooja and her beautiful Homestay are the best! It’s just a step away from the busy main road in Laxman Jhula, but far enough to get a proper, quiet rest there. I loved every aspect about my stay there and would recommend 100%. From the first second you feel truly welcomed and Pooja is there for you all the time. You can also use the kitchen there and she provides filtered water. Thank you Pooja, see you next time!

A nice hostess, very accommodating, in an office best location where you're close to market street but also with the feel of authentic neighborhood. If you want to be in Laxman Djula side this is the place to stay.
