Smiley frog

The garden!! It’s a piece of art, taken care of every day. I loved spending time in there. Also the access to the river where you can swim, fish or just relax. The rooms are very basic, but very clean and you get everything you need.

There’s a loud music coming from a very inconsiderate venue across the river every evening. I didn’t really mind, but I know some people may be annoyed.

No fridge ..

Having been bitten by mosquitoes at VN Guesthouse, I was fortunate to find a room at Smiley Frog for a night. Lovely room and gardens, lovely staff, beautiful riverside surroundings and a great restaurant with a good choice of inexpensive food. The only thing I didn't like was having to haul my heavy luggage through the garden and then up a flight of stairs.

Very nice garden and river view.

Not much sound proofing in the rooms.

Room? Food on site… truly fabulous. Loved it. Loved it!

Seemed like a family run business. Younger ladies..40!sonething? Fabulous. Older laddies … mothers? Too be honest… not friendkey…. On the edge…. Of VERY RUDE. Very, very rude.

A very friendly resort. Lovely and clean, very well presented. Staff are very friendly. Very close to the main strip. You can hire motorbikes from hotel as well. The only thing I didn't like there was no fridges in the room to store my medication, but I only stayed 1 night so it wasn't an issue, the very kind staff informed me that I could use the fridge in reception. I would definitely stay again!!
