I stayed a lot of places in Crete and Emanuela's apartment was by far the most beautiful and useful. Heraklion airport is less than 10 minutes by car. 300 metres away there is a fully equipped and cheap to use municipal beach. By the way, it is also very enjoyable to watch and take photos of the aeroplanes landing frequently at the airport just to the left of the beach. There are all kinds of shops in the neighbourhood, including taverns, markets and bakeries. The large parking space is a great advantage. But the apartment itself is marvellous. Two large bedrooms, spacious living room, fully equipped modern kitchen, complimentary snacks, coffee and water. Spacious bathroom with bathtub and fully automatic washing machine. Every need has been considered and every effort has been made for comfort... Emanuela, the young lady who lives next door, is a friend and a kind person who is ready to help in any way. My mother and I could only stay for two nights, but we would have liked to stay much longer... It was also a pleasure to watch the planes landing on the large veranda. Highly recommend.

Great location near the airport. Great location to the beach. Exceptional hostess. She was so kind and extremely helpful always going out of her way to make sure we were happy and having a good time.

The apartment is spacious with lots of cooking utensils and essentials for a longer stay (e.g. laundry). Communication with the host was smooth, and the little touch of leaving coffee and other treats upon arrival was lovely. The apartment is walking distance to a long sandy beach, with various cafes and restaurants nearby. The outdoor seating gets a lovely afternoon/evening sun.
