Appletree Holiday Park by Away Resorts

The location is great. The park itself is very well kept. The accommodation was all nicely spread out was quite new so modern and in good condition. The bar area was very modern and inviting and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

There were only a couple of things we can mention that we didn’t like. In the evening when the bar/restaurant area had been used all day it was untidy and there was lots of food and litter on the floor and tables needed clearing. I think this was because it was busier than expected but the staff were all very busy and still helpful. We were in an Esme caravan which looked nice but was starting to show signs of ware and tear. It had no draining board so washing up was a chore and whilst the hob was induction, one of the three pans wasn’t so we couldn’t use it to cook. There was also no oven but we hadn’t noticed that when booked. The Esme did have nice bifold doors and a very large decking area though. And the design was very funky.

The speed bumps are ridiculous. They are way too high, which can be seen by the amount of gouges over them.

Lovely site, accommodation was very good and it was nice and peaceful as the site is not very big.

Needs more bins on site for disposal of rubbish when you leave.

It was great to have fun activities for the children so close.
