Awesome host, highly recommended

Everything!! The owner is amazing and so sweet i can't wait to come back. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the path that goes around the lake. The bath was the most relaxing I have ever had. Waking up to the view of Fuji-san in the distance was a dream come true.

Wonderful stay at Pension Ivy as a traditional Japanese pension with shared baths - location is great if you want to go for a hike or explore the nearby sights. From our room we could even see Mt. Fuji.

Location was great, great view of Fuji from our balcony. It is in quite a remote part of Yamanakako (last stop on the bus), but it was lovely and quiet and not touristy at all. The owner was super friendly, she held our bags for us the next day. They have two really cute and large cats, and lots of cat decor which was cute. The futons and the room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend!

Very beautiful house, has all the amenities one might want, plus free tea and coffee. Breakfast is available for a fee. The bath was very comfortable.

Super friendly hostess, sweet cats, great location with view on Fuji-San. Free parking place and on 1h30 min from Tokyo by car. Fantastic breakfast, everything made with care and attention! Great airco. Go there!

Time slot for the (basic) shared bathroom was a bit inconvenient, but keep in mind: you pay a very good price for what you get! Futon a bit thin but we loved the Japanese experience and hospitality.

Property decoration is nice and makes us feel like we stay at home. Owner is polite and eager to help for anything you ask. Facilities are clean and make us comfortable.
