Sunset View

The owner never came to meet us. We were welcomed by a tenant from the 1st floor. The beds were terrible. We woke up with sore bodies from sleeping on the broken base boards and worn out mattresses. The coffee table had a broken leg. Only one cooking pot was available. The noise from the dogs, the bikes, and vehicles with extremely heavy sound day and night was not tolerable. Wi fi was very unstable. Water pressure was very low. Public transport was easily accessible.

Every thing was not satisfactory

Presque tout était parfait logement propre agréable et lumineux ,avec une superbe terrasse .

Le logement était top. Très propre et exactement comme sur les photos. Au alentour il ya des arrêts pour aller prendre le bus et on peut randonner facilement.

Ce que j'ai pas aimé c'est que le logement se situe dans un quartier très bruyant du matin au soir. Beaucoup de chiens dans le quartier donc si on est à pieds il faut regarder où on met ses pieds. Dans logement il manque un peu de marmites pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner et qui sont là pour assez longtemps.

The photos are not misleading. They match the property. The two-bedroom appartment is clean and modern and has all the facilities one needs for a nice stay - kitchen utensils, bedsheets/blankets, towels, toilet paper, soap, TV, AC, and many more. On top of that, it is spacious and well-decorated. The terrace is huge; it has a nice view, especially when the sun sets. The hosts are nice, helpful and responsive.

It was not easy to locate the property; the address given was not precise. The hosts could be more organised. The owner visited me without letting me know in advance. When he knocked, I had to get out of the shower, get into a dressing gown and open the door to talk to him. It is important to call or text the customer and agree on an appropriate meeting time convenient to both parties. The most annoying issue was water flow and pressure in the shower. The day I arrived, water would flow during 4-5 mins and stop. It would flow again after half an hour or so. I informed the hosts; immediate actions were taken and the problem was solved the next day.

The warm welcome of the owner and he is a very comprehensive person.

It was very well presented. It was very good value for money. It’s the best accomodation for the cheapest price in Mauritius. If you are on a budget then this is the best place to go to. Just make sure you have a car! The apartment is well sized for 4 people. The place next door makes very good food at very cheap prices at night. Supermarkets and ATMs are close if you drive. They let you park the car inside the gate. The terrace is huge and very beautiful. The host was very nice and helpful. He helped us with anything we needed.
