Loved the location and the room was charming and clean.

The bed was too soft. When will I learn not to sleep on the side closest to the bathroom!?

Location, location! You can not find a better place to stay in Siena. This old town is very hilly, lots of walking up and down,mostly walking is the only way to move around the old town and this apartment is just perfect to walk with the minimum hills. Its just in between the Cathedral and the main Plaza. Lots of restaurants near by, getting out to your right about 20 mts you will find at your left the restaurant where we ate the best meal of our 21 days trip. The hosts are very responsive and always connected.

The main door to get into the building has a trick to open, you need to pull up the key when it is in and we went out the first day, late, and suffer to get back inside, so after that we tried and tried until we discover this trick. Outside was very cold, and it was not supposed to be, so the apartment was a bit cold for us. The disposition of the main bathroom is a bit odd, the shower is inside the room on the other side of the wc and the lavatory. The hosts said they will work on a print instructions for the appliances. They remotely control the temperature and it will be nice to know in advance not after looking everywhere how to change it. It will be a good advice,the first day, that you need to leave cash for a city tax, due to now a days travelers use mainly credit cards.

The appartement was a bit damp, due to the historic building.

Many small essentials provided: salt, oil, paper towels, night lights, coffee machine, extra pillows. Excellent kitchen. Stunning location. Full of charm and character.

Could have been warmer, blind did not work. (Luckily view was awesome)

Location was excellent. Place was large.

This is NOT a place to rent during the winter: we came into a freezing house (thick brick/stone walls, no heat). After requesting the heat to be put a little higher they raised it to 20C - the place was still freezing. If you come by car parking is far away (dragging luggage) and not cheap at all.

The location is fantastic and the apartment was very interesting, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. The beds were very comfortable and nice quilts etc. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

Wait for instructions to open the door to the apartment as the key only works one way. However the owner got this sorted for us.

It was located perfectly near Il Campo, Duomo and shopping. Gorgeous clean space.

We liked everything about the property - the location, the cleanliness, the attention to small details.. The hosts were super responsive and nice. Recommended.

This is not an issue with the property. While we knew in advance it was an uphill walk from the parking, we did not expect that steep route :) The location is still great but you need to keep that in mind.
