The location

To start they don’t offer children’s cot facilities. No sun loungers by the pool, no curtains on the apartment so once the shutters were up everyone could see straight in. There was no double duvet for sofa bed only a single in the wardrobe which had a blood stain, I was told that there wasn’t a double duvet being provided and if we got cold at night to turn the heating up and the stain that was on the single duvet I was told ‘washing duvet is not something they can do when they have a quick turnover’ even though it was a BLOOD stain and I mean a big one. The next problem was there was Ants over the back splash in the kitchen which climbed into my child’s snack box, I was told that this is a common problem in Portugal but I been coming back and fore Portugal for 15 years and not once have I had ants in any apartments I’ve stayed in, they said they would provide spray but for a faster alternative to go buy it myself and they would reimburse me. I then asked for a late check out as there wasn’t a booking after mine and was told they could change it til 12pm just incase they had a late booking. My mother stayed in the same apartments just another block and under a different agency and they allowed them to keep the apartment on until 6:30pm with a €30 charge where as they weren’t accommodating at all and even worse that the cleaners were seen coming at gone 3pm so even that slight longer checkout would’ve been ideal with two young babies.
