River House

We really liked the quirky way River House was decorated.

Unfortunately the communication wasn't great. I called to see if it was possible to use the drive on the day of our arrival just before our checkin time. I didn't receive an answer even to say it wasnt possible. We accidently left something behind at the property and I asked if it was possible to post it back to me and I would of course, pay. I still haven't received a reply weeks later after two polite requests. However, the only message I did get whilst there was to make sure that I load the dishwasher and empty the bins which i would naturally do anyway!! V one-sided. It's such a shame as a lovely property, but it has put us off staying in future.

The property was clean, well-equipped and nicely decorated. It was perfectly set up for a short family getaway and we were very comfortable.

Perfect location for a walk into Rye & plenty of off road parking. Stylish, modern decor. Very comfortable with good facilities. Very clean bedrooms/bathroom & kitchen. Lovely bedding and clean towels.

If I was to be picky cleanliness could be improved downstairs - 12+ spiders in the house, and had to hoover the hall and lounge on arrival as bits on the floor which were uncomfortable underfoot without shoes on

The perfect location for our family getaway. Super cute and funky house only a short walk from Rye centre. All the rooms were comfy and stylish. The Prosecco was a lovely touch.
