"A home away from home in beautiful Wales."

Bron Hafren was a charming ‘home away from home.’ Our hosts made every effort to ensure our comfort, and were able to recommend local places that should not be missed, and dining options. A beautiful home set in a delightful garden…. Beautiful views from our window… truly lovely. Home cooked breakfast was the icing on the cake!

"Simply wonderful, Bron Hafren"

We loved everything about our stay at Bron Hafren! Debbie is the most thoughtful host, remembering the smallest details mentioned or requested each previous day - and a lovely lady all told. The setting of Bron Hafren was gorgeous, by the River Severn, surrounded by fields, their own orchard and glorious remote views. Inside, a welcoming comfortable bed, spacious en suite shower room and soft, whiter than white bedding and towels. And the breakfast ... amazing! Thank you so much, Debbie - you're a star!

There is nothing to dislike!

"Perfect stay for discovering Powis Castle and Montgomery."

Lovely B&b 15 minutes to Welshpool and Powis Castle. Elegant rooms with thoughtful touches and an excellent breakfast each morning. Go scrambled eggs with smoked salmon!

"Warm welcome, comfortable and quiet."

Our host Debbie was welcoming and a lovely lady. Bron Hafren is a homely, comfortable B&B in a quiet location in the countryside about 10-15 minutes drive from Powys Castle which is definitely worth a visit. Fabulous gardens. The breakfast was exceptional and set us up for the day. Debbie recommended local pubs for an evening meal when we arrived. We booked at The Dragon in nearby Montgomery and enjoyed the battered cod and chips.

Excellent, tasty breakfast with a good choice. Really good location for us to go out and about every day. Nice and quiet with lots birds and wildlife in their lovely garden. Debbie is a really friendly host.

"Ideal stop over on our way into Wales, and excellent access to Powys Castle"

Lovely quiet spot by the river Severn. Easy walk to local pub for dinner. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, plenty of fresh fruit and coffee a available. Wonderful walking from the door along the river where we saw several kingfishers.
