We had a truly wonderful stay at this peaceful holiday home in Croatia. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, the house offers complete privacy thanks to the surrounding trees, and the only sounds you’ll hear are birds singing — pure bliss. The private pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing days in the sun. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped — you really feel that everything has been thought of. What made the stay even more special was the host, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about our comfort. He checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal — just under 10 minutes by car to Rovinj, yet far enough to feel like your own little escape. There are scenic cycling routes nearby, and the whole area is quiet and serene — perfect for those looking to truly unwind.

My wife and I stayed for one week at Villa David and it has been awesome. Stipo is an amazing host and his gestures of kindness have brightened each morning for us. The property is large and well taken care of. Having that nice pool and being such a quiet peaceful atmosphere, you feel like you want to spend your whole vacation there. The kitchen has all the utensils you need and in more than enough quantities. The wardrobes are spacious so there was enough space for our clothes and luggage. The place was very clean. It is pretty close to Valalta, 10 minute walk to the gate. There are some restaurants nearby, we recommend Tipico Green Garden. It's a 10-15 minute drive to parking spots near Rovinj old town. We like very soft beds and this one was a bit stiff, but we've slept well on it. People with back problems will probably appreciate it.

We spent 6 wonderful nights at the Villa. This was our first time to Croatia and we will definitely return to Rovinj again. We loved the remote location, the large plot on which the property sits and the privacy and tranquility that comes with it. Nevertheless you have the quaint town of Rovinj just 10 to 15 drive away. The facilities were excellent: the pool is cleaned daily. The AC worked perfectly and only needed to be run for a short while to cool the compact villa. The TV gets satellite reception (mostly German channels). We also used our own streaming box and the internet worked seamlessly. I would even trust it to work remotely if I needed to. WiFi also worked no problem outside and at the pool loungers. There is also 5G coverage (A1 HR) at the house. Large gas BBQ works well. We hadn’t planned on eating in but the BBQ was too tempting to resist and we managed to have a lovely meal. The compact kitchen had all the essentials we needed. There’s a 2 ring cooker, fridge with a small freezer box, filter coffee machine, toaster, Kettle and all the utensils and crockery you’d need. The bathroom was large and modern with a large heated towel rack to dry towels and even swimwear. All windows had blackout curtains or blinds. Sleeping in was not a problem. The windows in the living room had external blinds (“Rollos”). The grounds/garden have matured into a lovely green landscape (though ch greener / nicer now than in the profile photos). This is a unique property, truly a gem. The hosts are incredibly friendly and generous. My husband and I felt very welcomed. We hope to return (Tip: the Monte Ricco vineyard is walking distance from the villa and does a lovely low key wine tasting).

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This was one of the most beautiful vacations my husband and I ever took!! There is not a single thing to criticize about this property, this host, or anything else. The family is so lovely, and you are absolutely well taken care of. Another bonus is the location—absolutely remote with no one around. You have the entire house/garden/pool to yourself and can just relax and unwind. Valalta is just 3 minutes away, and the city center of Rovinj is about 10 minutes away; the same goes for the supermarket (we went to Kaufland, which is super big and has everything you need in store). What made the stay so uncomparable was, on the one hand, the lovely host family and the feeling of freedom being there. For us, it was just like paradise!

There is nothing we can complain about! Absolutely nothing. It was all just excellent!!
