This restored Victorian hotel and coach house annex is situated within 5 minutes’ walk of the town center, on the best side of town. All our rooms have been fully refurbished and the hotel has a fully licensed bar, large double TV lounge, and is noted for its very friendly and homely atmosphere. Easy convenient and good value with friendly check in and everything I needed to hand. The shower temperature and pressure was great and the windows opened wide to let in the breeze on this uncharacteristically warm night.

The pillows on the bed were not good but it was warm so I rolled up the duvet and used that. I suppose I could have asked but I didn’t want to be a bother for a short stays
