The Retreat Swellendam

Wir hatten ein Haus für uns, mit viel Platz und einem gemütlichen Schlafzimmer und einem großen Bad. Außerdem gab es noch ein extra WC und einen großzügigen Wohn- und Küchenbereich.

Es gab keinen Geschirrspüler, wie angegeben und es war recht frisch im Wohnbereich, da es keine Heizung gab, wie angegeben. Wir konnten zwar einen Kamin im Wohnbereich benutzen, der konnte aber den Raum nicht wirklich aufheizen. Das große Bad war auch recht frisch. Die Anbindung an das Hotel war nicht möglich und damit auch keine Möglichkeit den Wellnessbereich zu nutzen. Alle diese Punkte hätte man vorab kommunizieren müssen.

The cooperation with the fantastic 5-star hotel de kloof which opens up the opportunity to enjoy their beautiful pool and an outstanding breakfast, treated like a regular guest of the hotel is a clear plus for the Retreat. The Retreat is a nicely arranged cottage with lovely details, very well equipped kitchen and a Paradies for people who love a remote and quite neighborhood although it's just a short walk to the historic city center. The garden, especially the lawn, expresses the extrem drought. .

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage, sehr individuell eingerichtet.

Der Gartenbereich und der Kolkol benötigen mehr Pflege.

Beautiful place. Was clean and neat. Well equipped, has all the bells and whistles. Hot tun was a bonus.
