Villa Sofia

Das Haus war von innen sehr schön und sauber.

Die Zufahrtsstraße zum Haus war nicht besonders gut, die Lage des Hauses entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Auf der Veranda des Hauses waren Katzen und sie hatten überall draußen vor dem Haus ihr Geschäft verrichtet. Ich musste es selbst reinigen.

The location its quiet, but isolated, you can not go to the beach by walking, only by car. The villa its nice, but the cleaning its medium. The washing machine did not functioned, missing clothes dryer.

Cleaning not good, road until the vila, wi-fi not ok.

We really enjoyed our two week stay at Villa Sofia. The view is beautiful, and the kitchen and living space are large and comfortable. When we first arrived the oven and kettle didn’t work. But the agent and owner came round quickly to sort it out, including buying a new kettle, and additional plates/bowls/glasses. There are also some beautiful cats that live nearby, and it’s clear that the owner has been looking after them. The British love cats and it would be nice if a central feeding station was set up to ensure the cats are looked after whilst people stay at the villa.

The only thing people should be aware is that it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach. We had wingfoiling kit, so drove each day (only 2 minutes).

The house was very nice, comfortable.

Everythibg was perfect

the house is new, well equipped and clean. the host is very nice and helpful. every 3-4 days, extra cleaning is planned. the location is close to the nice beaches from the west side of the island, but also to the south-east side. travel to the north takes 1 hour

the road is a bit narrow and has some ramps. but close to the beach. the best way to reach Vasiliki is by car

The outside space is really nice, as there is plenty of space for children to play and adults can really enjoy their coffee/meals. The view is amazing. However, families with little children have to be very cautious, as there is no fence at the end of the yard, where it is quite high from the ground. We were two families and we used two cars, as protection measure. The owner/contact person was very helpful and responsive.

The house was lacking some basic equipment, such as bath accessories (towel hangers, teeth brush cups and soap holders) and kitchen towel, sponges etc. Also, there were no cleaning products available and the washing machine did not work, as well. Finally, the bedrooms had blind curtains, however, the curtains were shorter than the windows, thus the light was directly into our eyes, which made our awakenings a bit annoying..

1. When we arrived the staff was still cleaning the house(we arrived 1h later) 2. The garden was a bit dirty 3. The garden was not with grass as per the photos 4. Right behind the house it’s an unfinished construction, we were lucky that nobody was working there 5. There were no shampoo, soap and etc…(we asked to bring some, but no one brought 6. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The main problem is the road, there is around 50 meters of bad road with 2 very abrupt descents(we were with a Honda Civic and we were not able to go with the car till the house, we had to park it almost somewhere on the road near the house) If you have an SUV it is ok I would like to say that Villa Sofia in general is great compared to the price and the quality ( they have to work a bit on service)
