Aigon Hotel

Good location for visiting Vergina.

Room.gloomy, bedside light didn’t work. Tv wires hanging out of wall with no tv. Bathroom tap didn’t work. Slower tiny and water went everywhere in bathroom.shower curtain coming off it’s runner.

Excellent location. Beautiful clean hotel, friendly staff, with a car park across from hotel.

Our host Anastasia was very friendly and helpful. Good size room. Easy walk 10 mins for Aigai Royal Tombs and short drive to museum

Lovely hosts, the place is quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and included local pastries, coffee, yogurt, butter and marmalade, fresh bread, fruits, orange juice, ham and cheese, and boiled eggs. Rooms have own bathroom, AC and fridge. The windows have insect nets. There is an elevator to 1st floor, to help with carrying luggage. Expect to see some playful cats around the hotel entrance.

The shower sink is not well designed, a small puddle will form around after each shower. Not exactly a negative point, but is worth mentioning that the hotel has only inside parking space for 1 car, the rest will stay on the road in front of the hotel (We had no issues with parking on the street though).

Close to royal palace and museum, big room with balcony, kind staff always available, good breakfast.

The host, Anastasia, was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The elevator is such a bonus as, with mobility issues, stairs are difficult for me at times. The room and facilities were exactly as advertised and the location was great - very central to the historic sites, tavernas, express supermarket and a short drive to the large museum.
