The room was cute and comfortable, and the downstairs bar/restaurant was great.

The bar across the street was very loud (open air) and open late, so if you’re facing the street and planning to sleep before 2 am, it was not ideal.

The bar manager was very helpful with check in and check out.

The listing does not make it clear that you are staying in an actual bar. It was as if our bed was in the middle of the bar and the music and vibrations continued until 1am. It was not possible to sleep due to the noise and vibrations. The room was also very hot and we couldn't open the windows because our window was over the outside patio and smoking section where people were talking, smoking (and screaming) until 1am.

Perfect location for being in the heart of Belfast

Very overpriced. Very loud for where the place is. Soundproofing would go along way to make the stay more comfortable (only one pair of earplugs was provided which was handy but unfortunate since 2 people were staying in the room. ) Also the room was far too warm, there is no air flow even with the window ajar. Also the request section on both booking.com and the foundry website don't adhere to requests that have been agreed to.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was lovely and it is in a very central/buzzy location. The room has suitable amenities and they provide gluten free bread for breakfast

It is a nightclub till 1am with loud music both downstairs and across the road. They do supply ear plugs and it’s on their website (even if I didn’t spot it initially!) but you just can’t escape the bass of the music. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t plan on joining downstairs

Having courtesy ear plugs in the room should have rung alarm bells. Thankfully we were on 2nd floor at back of hotel not directly above the nightclub in the bar or the bars opposite
