The property is nice and down an ally so it is more private, and there’s a gate.

The manager, who I believe was also the owner. Right from the beginning the manager asked me if this was my first time in Nepal, I said yes thinking nothing of it. Me and my spouse did the normal check in things, the manager went with us to the room, showed us around, he tried telling me I booked the wrong room and he had to fix it, which I was standing in the exact room, amenities and all, I booked months prior to going there, then immediately demanded we cancel our booking on booking.com. He refused to leave the room until we canceled it. When asked why he said he already charged me downstairs, as if it couldn’t be reversed since I selected to pay at the property anyways. He still refused to leave, became more persistent, and spoke very rudely to me and my partner. I clicked “other” under cancel and wrote “manager request” while he watched over my shoulder and he yelled no and made me erase it repeatedly when I kept telling him the reasons didn’t match what he requested. We avoided him as much as we could the rest of our stay. He then told us part way through when we saw him that if we needed tickets or something booked we should ask him, we just nodded and said ok and continued our own search and getting information from travel agencies because we didn’t trust him, and the few dealings we did have with him, he was always so rude to us. When we asked for transportation to be arranged two days before leaving, it was the manager we had to speak to, we chose a lower cost option he gave as we didn’t care about “luxury”, and he kept yelling at us that he only deals in luxury repeatedly. The night before we were getting ready to leave, he yelled at us that we had to pay 6 k npr more to him if we wanted to leave the next morning, then said it was our fault he couldn’t find transportation because we asked too late. I walked down the road to a travel agency and paid the 6 k npr LESS for the same luxury he tried to force me to pay for, an electric suv with AC.

I really love this place! Staff are nice , everything are so nice and clean. 10 mins walk from the Main Street/ lake, but it’s definitely worth it. Love the little kitchen and the shower is good !

I stayed in a One Bedroom apartment and it was very neat and clean which comes with beautiful view of the mountains. Kitchen is available for cooking lover and for those who cannot consume restaurant foods, like us.
