Villa Myrto

I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the host was incredibly welcoming. I would highly recommend it for anyone traveling in the area

Incredible hosts that treat you like you are family! Stunning surroundings which are always kept lovely and clean. The food at the pool bar is the besttt, everything is made fresh with the best ingredients and it shows. You can’t go and not try the burger!!

I spent a full week at Villa Myrto and loved it! The area is nice and quiet, but offers a well-stocked supermarket/cafe and a few good restaurants nearby. Good connection to bus network as well, and there are at least 3 nice beaches in walkable distance. The villa itself is owned and run by Rali and her family, and they are truly amazing hosts. Rali will literally be around all day to ensure all of her guests are happy, that their questions are being answered and their needs are being taken care of. You will most likely find her at the bar by the pool, where they don't only serve breakfast but also offer a great range of beverages throughout the day until late evening and even some dishes like greek salad and burgers. Food is done fresh and absolutely terrific! Rali will also cook other dishes upon request, while her son is an expert in doing proper burgers. There are about 20 apartments, each with a balcony in the front AND the back. Mine was spotless and equipped enough to cook basic food myself. From the front balcony, you have an amazing view across the garden/ pool area and the green surrounding hills. The pool is large and well-maintained but never too crowded. Since this is no party location, you can be sure that you will be able to sleep at night, unbothered by the noise of others, which for me was a big plus. I would definitely come back. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste, but that was no big issue. I have back problems and am sensitive. Still, I would defo come back and stay again at Villa Myrto.

We liked the relaxing and friendly atmosphere of the place. The kindness and generosity of the hostess Rali was the perfect icing on the cake of our holiday. The room was spacious for 2 people and equipped with all we needed. We also ate a wonderful smash burger, prepared by Rali's son, that was the best we ever had.

Very nice guest with a lot of talks / explanations We had an improvised dinner with tzatziki and sofrito which was very very nice, plus a local wine !

Keep looking. We booked for three nights, but left after two, forfeiting our third night's cost. This property listed a swimming pool, bar, convienence store, and a restaurant, none of which were operating. The owner seemed nice enough, but when we arrived tired and wanting to rest after a full day on this stage of through hiking the Corfu Trail, she and her sister spent about an hour complaining to us about how hard it was to find help or contractors. The kitchen did not have adequate items to minimally cook or clean with, and when my husband asked for soap and a sponge to wash the dirty plates and glasses before we used them, he was told "Whatever you need, you can go to the mini market down the street." He was finally given just enough soap and a used sponge to clean the dishes. The shower head leaked and sprayed all over, and the toilet valve made an awful noise when flushed, if it flushed at all. The owner was difficult to find, and when we did find her, her sister said whatever it was could wait as they were on their way to church. Twice. This could be a very nice property as the location is ideal, and the grounds are pretty for a getaway or a stopover on the trail, if it had been managed well, and had the amenities it said it did. We chose it hoping for a place to relax and spend Easter in Corfu before continuing on the trail. As a side note, we were the only ones at the property.
