Great hosts! Good sized room, with public sinks and toilets on each floor. We arranged for train station DO after checkout. Great views of Fuji if you walk a little.

Could use a fridge in the room for food storage. It's quite a hike from the station if you have bags etc., so you'll need to reserve PU or take the bus.

The owner and his wife are extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean as were the bathroom facilities. There’s a family mart not too far away.

The location is a bit of a walk from the station so if you have heavy bags it can be quite hard. I’ve stayed in a few futon/tatami mat places on my trips and although for me this hotel was okay, if you’re an older person with back issues I’d be wary. I was also surprised at the communal shower, which I didn’t realise until I went to take one. I had to be very quick as I’d rather not shower with other people. And one other tiny thing, which is I feel a hotel room should always have a box of tissues and fridge, sadly this has neither.

Slightly out the way so if you’re staying for a few days rent some bikes.

Big rooms Basic facilities but it was all i needed I love the shared bath and its big tub Lots of toilets. No waiting time Close to the lake and some parks with cherry blossoms trees. There is also a nearby grocery. Good heating! It could get cold outside the room but inside was warm and cosy!

Its a good 25 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station. I could probably ride a bus as there is a bus stop jist a short walk from the properry but the town was so pretty and Fujisan is a sight to behold so i really didnt mind the long walks. Owner is nice to have a quick chat with me and even advised me on what and what not to so as a solo traveller in the area.

Staying in here was an absolute delight. The owners welcomed me like a family. They allowed me to extend even tho i didn't book in advance and they even drove me to the station. Their english is very good so i had wonderful conversations with them. The hotel is very comfortable and the location is very close to the lake. Everything was perfect and I'd definitely come back here again if im in mount fuji.

The house is clean and comfortable. The hosts are so nice. Breakfast is yummy.

Toilet and bathroom are not in the room but it is ok and acceptable. Futon is a bit thin.
