Broad Street Townhouse

We stayed here for our wedding. The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff were fantastic and I highly recommend the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

It can get quite noisy outside but earplugs are provided. No parking outside either so it's a bit of a rush to get bags in but the staff did take ours to the room whilst we went and parked.

Lovely old property. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings. There isn’t a lift so not suitable for disabled. Breakfast was great and staff were lovely

Not great in a heat wave especially in the higher rooms as due to its age there is no air conditioning but we were given fans which didn’t do much due to the extreme heat. We aimed one fan in and one out which eventually helped a little

We stayed here on the hottest week ever!!! The staff provided us with two electric fans which were a lifesaver during the very hot close nights. The breakfasts were great and we were able to select a different one each day. The food was tasty and a great start to each day. The hotel is in a great location close to the city centre, Roman Baths, Abbey etc.

The room was slightly smaller than we’d expected but it was fine.

We had a lovely stay. The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was well organised, and we really enjoyed our time here.

The only downside was that there was no lift or air conditioning. Unfortunately, we visited during a heatwave, so the room became very hot at night and it was difficult to sleep. We understand this isn’t something the hotel can always control, but it would be worth mentioning for guests staying during the summer.
