The host Anastasios welcomed us warmly and was helpful throughout our stay. On two occasions, when it rained, during the night, he even put away our things that were drying outside. The accommodation is in a quiet and peaceful place in nature, surrounded by a forest, with a yard and a porch, where we enjoyed the sea view in the morning with coffee and in the evening with wine. 200 meters away, across the road, is the beach where we were, almost alone. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves peace and quiet and wants to get away from the crowds and noise.

Weak signal for mobile phones, so the internet doesn't work well. This is a problem in this region in general, and it's not the fault of the host and it's not within his jurisdiction. That's a matter for the authorities.

The property was bit aged and in need of refurbishment.

I would give this place a 0 if I could, the host is an aggressive thug looking to scam you out of your money. He promised us the best internet in Greece, we were greeted with a broken phone hotspot in a box. The whole place stinks of an old folks home and is dirty. You cannot use the AC and the stove at the same time because the electricity will shut off. You don't even want to use the stove because it is dirty and older than the owner himself. You cannot throw toilet paper in the toilet. The windows cannot be closed because they are broken. The owner is an abrasive, aggressive man who was annoyed we complained about the lack of internet even though we specifically asked for stable internet 1 MONTH before arrival (he promised us he had 2 very stable internet connections, which was a complete lie.) He also scammed our neighbors (staying in his other awful shack of a house) for 200 euros more because he bullied them and lied about how booking.com made a mistake and didn't charge them the correct amount. We were forced to leave the place at midnight and look for a different place to stay while out on the street. When asked for a refund he told us to get lost and call booking.com. (which we couldn't because there was NO INTERNET). This whole experience was the single worst experience of our lives and we are thinking of not ever using booking.com again due to the lack of quality control. This man should be banned from all other platforms and should be reported to the Greek tourism board. If you book this place you WILL regret it. It's better to burn your money than to give it to this cheating, lying scammer.

A great place with a great host! Because of its location you can enjoy the sea view and the silence of the forest as well. There is a sofa and a table in front of the villa, where you can drink your coffee in the morning and spend your evening, listening to the waves.If you are looking for a simple, peaceful place where you can relax, Villa Katerinas will definitely be a good choice!
