Very charming, good space and immaculate! We loved having coffee in the tower. The host, Andrea , was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend

The plus of this property is it is in heart of historic city center. The minus is the parking and stairs, but worth the effort

Residenza Altana was beautiful and I will definitely come and stay again! We arrived very late at 01:30am due to a flight delay but Andrea was there to give us our keys and a tour of the apartment with a smile! There were 6 adults staying here and all of the beds were large and comfy. There was a welcome basket including wine, pasta, tomato sauce, olive oil and water which made us feel very welcome ☺️ The really incredible thing about Residenza Altana is the stunning tower at the top, this private tower overlooked the streets of Lucca, and was especially beautiful in the sunrise and sunset. We spent a lot of our time up here as a group, and even preferred to have some evening drinks looking at the view from here rather than in a bar! This really was such a treat, and none of us were expecting it, I’m sure we will remember the tower for a long time. We couldn’t have wished for more, and genuinely had the best stay. Andrea was very kind and let us keep our bags there on the last day so we wouldn’t have to carry them around with us. He also communicated with me a lot before we got there so I had a lot of confidence. I couldn’t recommend this place more :)

The only slight difficulty was that the bathroom is in the living room which converts to a bed so the people in there have people coming through a lot, but we could cope with that fine! Not a problem if people in your group are quite laid back
