Location was so quiet and very cosy

Perfect location for me attending a race in the village

Place needs a small bit of TLC. Was ideal for what I wanted, somewhere to put the head down. I was only there for 12 hrs. If planning longer stay I’m not sure if I would have been as happy with it. Bit pricey for solo traveller but isn’t everything these days !!!

It’s very central located in small village. Chinese on your doorstep and shop the other side. Stone throw from three pubs. Had a lovely lunch in Killeen’s before checking in on Saturday.. but it only served food till 14.00. Limited menu but nice. I had Chinese for dinner and my son had a pizza for the chipper over the road. Very handy from this property. Lovely comfortable bed nice shower. My only gripe was no hot water for shave but everything else was super.

There was nothing good about my stay in Zebra lodge

1 the sofa was substandard (see photo) and gave me back pain after trying to use it. 2 .The plug-in hob looked dangerous so I did not attempt to use. 3. The fridge was warm and did not turn on. 4. The exterior of the apartment was embarrassing, just a door in the wall beside a shop, see photo. Lucky I had not arranged to meet anyone. 5. There was no shampoo. I had to shower in washing-up liquid. 6. There were only 2 coat hangers and neither hung trousers. 7. The one armchair was suitable for a child, I could not fit into it 8. Overall the decor, with fake brick work and fake wood panelling was more appropriate to a youth hostel than an expensive apartment.

Perfect spot! Well laid out and made good use of the space! Very fun art on the walls and lots to look at. The two beds were really nice and we were able to turn the heating off as we prefer to sleep in a cooler temperature. Located beside an amazing cafe open Thursday-Saturday and there was a park nearby that was perfect for our kid! The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the area felt very authentic. Highly recommend!

We are sensitive to scents and there were two incense sticks that we had to put away but the smell was gone once we did.

The shop next door was the only good thing about the property

Absolutely terrible service , make shift room what has been put up with plasterboard on the side of a shop . Make shift kitchen with the smallest electric 1 plate hob which doesn’t work properly , no kitchen appliances and cutlery and plates / glasses are placed on a shelf unable to be reached . Zero ventilation including no windows in the property just a glass front which has been smashed . We was unable to cook anything atal without the fire alarm being set off which did not turn off someone had to come and turn it off n told us we have to keep the front door open and the blinds shut so no one can see inside . The decor and pictures on the walls had swear words on every picture , there was 1 tea bag and 1 coffee portion to provide for 2 people. The floor was freezing cold as it is not an actual property but the back of a shop, the bathroom is made at the back of the room with no windows or ventilation again. This property has a severe fire risk and is extremely unsafe to stay in . There is a shelf built next to the bed which is very unsafe for someone to sleep next too, no privacy for anyone staying there , looks nothing like the pictures posted of it.
