Little Barn

Wonderful location, excellent accommodation, private garden area, very clean, all necessities provided, & some welcoming treats such as biscuits, bottle of fizz, & tea/coffee/milk. Plus host was available but left you alone to enjoy break.

Ok for an overnight stay but would not like to stay for longer. Nowhere to hang clothes, no headboard to allow you to sit up and read. Have to wash up in bathroom sink. The sofa needs replacing. We found the place very cold. You need to be able bodied as stairs to bedroom are steep and you can not walk upright in bedroom. Should you need the loo it is back downstairs.

Breakfast not included but that was fine with us and we took our own. There was a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster so everything we needed.

This isn’t a complaint, just an observation as it affected us. The bed was on the upstairs mezzanine and as we’re both tall people it wasn’t easy to stand upright apart front m in the centre because of the roof slope. I have a spine condition which means my back doesn’t bend so it was awkward. But it was very cute if you’ve no health issues!

Very nicely fitted out to a high standard. Lovely host. Very helpful and understanding when any issues.

A bit of road noise from the bed

Wonder little accommodation , we had it for a over night stay whilst attending my son's wedding reception at the local pub, the gaggle of geese ... Little Barn was just as described, comfortable, clean and well presented. Love the little touch of proper coffee, milk and homemade elderflower cordial, although never had chance to taste it. Claire text a few days before to let us know al the ins and outs. Also can't thank the owners of the local pub for their hospy and delivering us back to the Barn after the wedding... Loved it all. Thank you

Location was good , look of the place was lovely

Needed to be cleaner , dust on edges , mould on shower, no mirror near plug socket for hair drying

Noise from b road, too near for me, to enjoy the location, and disrupted my sleep and serinity.
